On the occasion, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai expressed heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, stating that under their visionary leadership, the scheme has become a protective shield for the state’s farmers.

CM Sai said that across the country today, more than 30 lakh farmers have received over ₹3,200 crore in crop insurance claim benefits. “The protection and prosperity of our farmers is our highest priority. With the guidance and determination of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, a new gateway has been opened for farmers’ prosperity and economic security,” the Chief Minister remarked.

He further emphasised that the Chhattisgarh government is fully committed to implementing the Central Government’s welfare schemes with complete transparency, urgency, and efficiency, ensuring that the state’s farmers become increasingly economically empowered while moving steadily towards self-reliance.
