It also included Bal Thackeray’s statement – ‘I am proud of those who did this’. The Shiv Sena secretary also used pictures of Uddhav Thackeray, Aditya Thackeray and others along with himself. Abu Azmi objected to this.
After the grand victory of the Mahayuti in the election results in Maharashtra, cracks have started appearing in the opposition alliance. The Samajwadi Party, which is part of the Maha Vikas Aghadi, has now decided to leave the alliance. Maharashtra SP chief Abu Azmi said on Saturday December 7 , 2024 that his party has decided to leave the MVA due to Shiv Sena-Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray’s stand on the demolition of the Babri Masjid.
What reason did Abu Azmi give for leaving MVA?
SP’s Maharashtra unit chief Abu Azmi said on his decision to leave MVA, “An advertisement was given in the newspaper by Shiv Sena-UBT in which those involved in the demolition of Babri Masjid were congratulated. His (Uddhav Thackeray’s) close associates also posted it on X and welcomed the demolition of the mosque.” He said, “That is why we are leaving the Maha Vikas Aghadi. I am talking to SP chief Akhilesh Yadav.”
