Parliament Session Special Discussion On Constitution In Lok Sabha Updates In Hindi: A two-day debate on the Constitution has started in the Lok Sabha on Friday December 13, 2024 to commemorate the beginning of the 75th year of the adoption of the Constitution in the country. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh started the debate. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reply to the debate on Saturday December 14 , 2024 .

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, while beginning the discussion on the Constitution in the Lok Sabha, said that the Constitution prepared by the Constituent Assembly is not just a legal document, but a reflection of the aspirations of the people. Our Constitution paves the way for development, touching all aspects of social, economic, political and cultural life. The role of many people in the making of the Constitution was deliberately denied. Rajnath Singh also said that an attempt has been made by a particular party to ‘hijack’ the work of constitution making.

There was a heated debate between Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge and Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar in the Rajya Sabha. During the debate, Kharge said that we are here for the country, not to hear your praise. On this, Dhankhar said that the country knows whose praise you like. Kharge said that you should run the House as per tradition. During this, Dhankhar said that I am a farmer’s son, I will not bow down. After which Kharge said that if you are a farmer’s son, then I am also a laborer’s son.
