IND vs AUS Live Score: Yashasvi was cheated
India suffered the seventh blow at a score of 140. Yashasvi was out after scoring 84 runs. He was cheated. Actually, Yashasvi tried to play the short pitch ball on the leg side of Cummins to fine leg. He missed and the ball went into the hands of wicketkeeper Carey. The on-field umpire declared him not out. After this Cummins took DRS. Third umpire Sharfudullah of Bangladesh saw the replay. There was no connection between the bat and the ball on the snocomometer. However, the ball was slightly deflected and the third umpire considered it as evidence and gave Yashasvi out.

Third umpire Sharfudullah asked the on-field umpire to change his decision. After this Yashasvi looked unhappy and he also expressed his displeasure in front of the on-field umpire. However, the on-field umpire asked him to leave. The fans present in Melbourne were also not happy with the decision of the third umpire and the entire stadium echoed with the chant of cheater-cheater. The decision of the third umpire is wrong because the connection between the player and the ball is determined by considering the snickometer as evidence.

Despite there being no movement in the snickometer, asking to change the decision without any conclusive evidence is clearly dishonest. During the first test in Perth, something wrong happened with Rahul as well. Then there was contact between Rahul’s bat and pad. At that time the ball also passed by the side of the bat. However, a clear gap was seen between the bat and the ball. The third umpire considered the snickometer as evidence and gave Rahul out.
