IND vs AUS 5th Test Score Live Updates Day 1: Today (January 3) is the final and fifth Test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia in Sydney. The Indian team won the toss and decided to bat first. The Indian team’s first innings ended at 185 runs. Australia is leading the series 2-1. In this match, Jasprit Bumrah is captaining the Indian team instead of Rohit Sharma.

In this match, the Indian team collapsed for 185 runs in the first innings. Now the Australian team is batting in the first innings. Sam Constance and Usman Khawaja are at the crease. Rishabh Pant scored the highest 40 runs in India’s first innings. On the other hand, Scott Boland took the highest 4 wickets from Australia. Bumrah is captaining India in this match. Rohit Sharma decided not to play in this match.


India won the first Test in Perth by 295 runs. Then Australia won the Adelaide Test by 10 wickets. After this, the Brisbane Test was a draw. Australia registered a massive 184 run win in Melbourne. Thus, they are currently leading the series 2-1. After lunch in Sydney, Virat Kohli was again out in the old style while trying to force the ball on the off stump. Kohli (17) was out at the hands of Beau Webster on Scott Boland’s ball. Kohli has been out many times in this series while trying to force the ball on the off side. After this, Pant and Jadeja took over the innings. Pant (40) seemed to be in good touch, but he too got caught by Cummins on Boland’s ball while playing an unnecessary shot. Nitish Reddy (0) was also out on the very next ball. Jadeja (26) was playing a little cautiously, but he was out when Team India’s score was 134. Washington Sundar (14) and Prasidh Krishna (03) who came in the lower order could not do anything special. Jasprit Bumrah (22) played some good shots at the end. … The last wicket of Team India fell in the form of Captain Bumrah (22), who was caught by Mitchell Starc at midwicket while trying to hit a pull shot on Pat Cummins’ ball. Scott Boland took the maximum 4 wickets from Australia. Mitchell Starc took 3, Pat Cummins 2 and Nathan Lyon got one success.
