Bijapur: Cowardly act of Naxalites, IED blast on soldiers’ vehicle, nine soldiers martyred

Naxalites have carried out an IED blast on a vehicle of soldiers on Kutru road in Bijapur. Nine soldiers have been martyred in the accident. Many soldiers are said to be injured

Bijapur : Naxalites have blasted the vehicle of soldiers on Kutru Marg of Bijapur. Nine soldiers have been martyred in the accident. Many soldiers are reported to be injured. The number of soldiers in the vehicle is not known yet. It is being told that the soldiers were returning from the Naxal operation, during which Naxalites ambushed them and blasted the IED on Kutru Marg. Naxalites are frustrated due to continuous Naxal operations in Chhattisgarh, due to which Naxalites have targeted the soldiers.

Bastar IGP Sundarraj P. has confirmed the martyrdom of nine soldiers. The injured soldiers in this attack are being evacuated from the spot. Rescue operation is going on at the spot. Many DRG soldiers were riding in the pickup. It is being told that there was an IED explosive of about three kilos, due to which the vehicle was blown to pieces.

According to the information received, the soldiers were returning from Pakhanjoor after carrying out the Naxal operation. The force had killed five Naxalites in the Pakhanjoor operation on Sunday. After this, the soldiers were returning today. During this, the Naxalites ambushed the vehicle by detonating an IED. According to the information received, eight soldiers are seriously injured.

The injured soldiers will be brought to Bastar by plane, after which preparations are being made to bring them to Raipur from there. The number of injured soldiers and martyred soldiers may also increase. Additional forces were sent to the spot in more than six vehicles. Additional forces have been sent from Dantewada. ‘The martyrdom of the soldiers will not go in vain’ Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw said on the Bijapur IED blast that information has come about the cowardly act of the Naxalites. This is a cowardly act of the Naxalites. This is an action taken in frustration and despair. The martyrdom of these soldiers will not go in vain and very soon Chhattisgarh, Bastar will be Naxal free.
