LIVE: PM Modi reached Maha Kumbh Mela area, will take a dip in Sangam, CM Yogi also with him

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Prayagraj. On this occasion, he will take a bath in the holy Sangam in Maha Kumbh and worship Maa Ganga. During this, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also be present.

Tight security arrangements have been made for PM Modi’s visit to Prayagraj. According to the information, many senior ministers of the state government including both Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak will also be present with PM Modi.

PM Modi has reached the Maha Kumbh Mela area. He has left for Sangam bath by boat.

  • PM Modi has reached Prayagraj airport. From here he will reach Arail’s DPS helipad by US Army helicopter. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is present here to receive him

So far, more than 14 crore devotees have taken a holy dip in the Maha Kumbh, which started on January 13. These include many big names including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Apart from this, representatives of many countries have also taken a holy dip in the Maha Kumbh.

-10:05 am – PM Modi will reach Prayagraj Airport.

-10:10 am – He will go from Prayagraj Airport to DPS helipad.

-10:45 am – Prime Minister will reach Areal Ghat.

-10:50 am – From Areal Ghat, he will go by boat to reach Maha Kumbh.

-11:00 – 11:30 am – Prime Minister Modi’s program is reserved for Maha Kumbh Mela.

-11:45 am – He will return to Areal Ghat by boat, then go back to DPS helipad and leave for Prayagraj Airport.

-12:30 pm – Prime Minister will leave Prayagraj by Indian Air Force plane.

On February 1, a delegation of 77 countries took a holy dip

Three days ago, on February 1, 2025 as many as 118-member delegation from 77 countries took a holy dip in Maha Kumbh. It included diplomats from many countries as well as their families. The 77 countries taking a dip in the Maha Kumbh include diplomats from countries like Russia, Malaysia, Bolivia, Zimbabwe, Latvia, Uruguay, Netherlands, Mongolia, Italy, Japan, Germany, Jamaica, USA, Switzerland, Sweden, Poland, Cameroon, Ukraine, Slovenia and Argentina. The UP government said in a statement that the diplomats expressed happiness over the arrangements made for the visit.
