The farewell function of any college is one of the most precious moments filled with plenty of sentiments and affection. The students of the final year batch are given a ceremonial function which is followed by cultural programs to make the day worth remembering In the farewell function, the students vigorously take part in dancing, singing, playing games, and having much more fun. The junior batch students decorate the place where function is to take place and arrange all the required programs for the day. They also arrange a lunch for their seniors who are having their last days in the college. The institution also wishes them good luck for their bright future and success in a career path they choose to be a responsible citizen of the country .
Raipur : The junior students of the Department of Computer Science, Commerce and Management of Pragati College , Choubey Colony , Raipur gave a warm farewell to the seniors. Today, on Saturday, February 22, 2025, a farewell ceremony was organised in the college which started with the lighting of the lamp and prayer of Maa Saraswati seeking blessing for wisdom and creativity .
Dr. Ramakrishna Rao, Head of the Department of Commerce and Management, while motivating the last year students to make their college life memorable, longed for everyone’s successful future and wished them all the best for the upcoming annual examinations.
While addressing the students, the Head of the Department of Computer Science, Mr. Mannu Ravani said that we can achieve success only when we have a set goal in life and this is also the aim of education.
Journalism and Education Department Heads Dr. Praveen Kumar Yadav and Dr. K N Gajpal while addressing the students said that first choose your goal and then leave no stone un turned to achieve it.
In her address, Administrator Ms Jyoti Thakur said that farewell should not be considered as the final stop but as the beginning of your future life because this is where the background for your employment and business is prepared.

Junior students entertained the senior students with aspects like dance, singing, drama and games.
