Students of Journalism and Mass Communication Department of Pragati Collage, Choubey Colony ,Raipur made an educational visit to the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly today on Friday March 7, 2025 . During this, the students closely observed the assembly proceedings and gained knowledge about Legislative Assembly process.

During the visit, the students met Chhattisgarh’s Vidhan Sabha Speaker Dr. Raman Singh and Leader of Opposition Dr. Charan Das Mahant. Both the leaders explained the students about the state’s politics, legislative process and its importance. They inspired the students to fulfill their responsibilities towards the society and the country along with their studies.

On this occasion, the Faculties of the College said that this tour was a unique opportunity for the students to learn and gain experience. This will help them to understand the political structure of the state and the democratic process in depth. The students found the visit to the Vidhan Sabha and meeting the Ex. Chief Ministerand now Vidhan Sabha Speaker DR, Raman Singh and Ex Vidhan Sabha Speaker and now Leader of Opposition Dr. Charan Das Mahant very inspiring and expressed their desire for more such educational tours in the future.
