PM Modi wrote in his post, ‘Today I had the privilege of meeting Rampal Kashyap of Kaithal in Yamunanagar, Haryana. He had taken a vow 14 years ago that ‘I will not wear shoes until Modi becomes the Prime Minister and I meet him.’ Today I got the opportunity to make him wear shoes.’

The Prime Minister has also shared a video with the post. In the video, it can be seen that when Rampal Kashyap reaches to meet PM Modi, the Prime Minister asks him, ‘Hey brother, why did you do this?’ After this, he tells the Prime Minister about his resolution.

‘Never do this again’

Then PM Modi while making him wear shoes says, ‘Today we are making you wear shoes. But never do this again later… you should work.’ The Prime Minister keeps shoes in front of Rampal Kashyap and helps him to wear them. Then pats his back and wishes him all the best. Rampal thanks the Prime Minister with folded hands.

Who is Rampal Kashyap?

Let us tell you that Rampal Kashyap is a resident of Kaithal district of Haryana. 14 years ago, he had pledged that until Prime Minister Narendra Modi becomes the Prime Minister of the country and until he meets PM Modi, he will not wear shoes and will remain barefoot.
