Raipur: Raipur Lok Sabha MP Shri Brijmohan Agarwal has started a new initiative towards a bright future for the youth of Chhattisgarh. The MP has written a letter to all the district collectors of the state and urged them to spread the information about the diploma and post graduate diploma courses running at CIPET Raipur to as many students as possible.
MP Agarwal mentioned in his letter that CIPET Raipur, which is the Central Institute of Petrochemical Engineering and Technology under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India, is a very important institute for Chhattisgarh. It was established in 2015 in Bhanpuri Industrial Area of Raipur with the joint efforts of the Chhattisgarh Government and the Central Government. The objective of this institute is to provide technical education to the youth in plastic technology, processing, mold design, testing, and other related areas, so that they can get 100 percent employment and self-employment opportunities in this industry.
Admission process started for session 2025-26
The MP informed that the process of admission to Diploma and Post Graduate Diploma courses in CIPET Raipur for the session 2025-26 has now started. After completing these courses, students get placement opportunities in leading multinational companies of the country and abroad. Despite this, Mr. Agarwal expressed concern that due to lack of information, many youth of Chhattisgarh are not able to take advantage of this opportunity.
MP’s request to District Magistrates
In his letter, the MP has requested the District Magistrates to take necessary steps to disseminate information about the courses of CIPET Raipur in the schools and colleges of their respective districts. Apart from this, he has suggested that by inviting the officials of CIPET Raipur, detailed information can be given to the students about career building in this field.
