New Delhi. The All India Congress Committee has made a big change in the organization. The party has changed the secretaries and joint secretaries of the Congress Committee across the country. AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal has issued an order in this regard. In which the party has given responsibility to new people.
The order reads, ‘The Congress President has appointed the following party officials as AICC Secretaries/Joint Secretaries attached to the respective General Secretaries/Incharge with immediate effect.’
According to the order issued, the party has made organizational changes in 25 states and union territories. In which secretaries and joint secretaries have been changed. Which includes Andhra Pradesh, Andaman Nicobar, Arunachal Pradesh / Meghalaya / Mizoram, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Goa / Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh / Chandigarh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala / Lakshadweep, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur / Nagaland / Tripura / Sikkim, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
Apart from this, the party has also made changes in the officials posted in administration, publicity, media, Congress President’s office. Along with this, the officer of foreign affairs and the treasurer have also been given new responsibilities.
