Emergency landing of helicopter Dhruv in Arabian Sea, two pilots missing

New Delhi: Indian Coast Guard helicopter Dhruv had to make an emergency landing in the Arabian Sea. During this, two pilots of the Indian Coast Guard on board the helicopter went missing.

A diver was also on board with them. No news has been received about him either. According to the information received so far, one crew member has been rescued, but the remaining three people are missing. This helicopter was engaged in relief and rescue operations related to the floods in Gujarat. Officials aware of the entire matter say that the helicopter made an emergency landing in the sea near Porbandar on Monday September 2 night.

The helicopter had two pilots and two divers on board. So far one diver has been reported, but the remaining three people are still missing. This helicopter was engaged in evacuating people trapped in the floods in Gujarat and delivering relief material. The Coast Guard has deployed 4 ships and two aircrafts in this operation. So far, the Indian Coast Guard’s Advanced Light Helicopter has saved the lives of 67 people during the floods and cyclone in Gujarat. In a statement issued by the Coast Guard, it was said that it had to make an emergency landing at around 11 pm. The helicopter had gone for medical rescue.
