Faridabad: A very shocking incident has come to light from Faridabad in Haryana, adjacent to the country’s capital Delhi. A 19-year-old student studying in class 12 was shot dead by alleged cow protectors. Aryan Mishra, who had left in a car with his friends to eat Maggi, was chased for 30 kilometers and then killed. The police have arrested 5 accused on murder charges.
The accused say that they had received information about smugglers coming in a similar car. The accused arrested in the Aryan Mishra murder case have been identified as Saurabh, Anil Kaushik, Varun, Krishna and Adesh. The police have produced all of them in the court and sent them to jail. The Faridabad Police Crime Branch Sector-30 team is investigating this murder case.
On the night of August 23, Aryan Mishra had gone to a mall in Badkhal with his landlord and his acquaintances in a Duster car to eat Maggi. While returning from there late at night, the accused tried to stop them at Patel Chowk. At this, an acquaintance of Aryan, who was driving the car, increased the speed of the car due to fear. After this, the accused chased the deceased and his acquaintances for about 30 km. Then, a little ahead of Gadpuri toll on Delhi-Agra Highway, the accused, who claimed to be cow protectors, shot Aryan, mistaking him to be an animal smuggler. Aryan, who was injured by the bullet, died during treatment.
After the arrest, Anil Kaushik and others said the police during interrogation they had shot Aryan Mishra with an illegal weapon. The police have recovered the illegal weapon from Anil Kaushik’s house. A car used in the crime has also been recovered.
According to police sources, the accused said during interrogation that on the night of August 23, they had received information from an unknown informer that some animal smugglers in Duster and Fortuner cars were being brought in the city . He said wherever they are finding animals, they are calling containers and picking them up. After this information, Anil Kaushik and his companions were searching for those animal smugglers in the city. During this, they saw a Duster car at Patel Chowk. The accused asked the car driver to stop, but the driver increased the speed of the car due to fear. Due to this misunderstanding, they chased the car and fired a bullet which hit Aryan Mishra and he died.
