Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will hoist the national flag and take the salute of the parade at the Police Ground in the capital Raipur in a state-level function on the occasion of Independence Day, August 15. Union Minister of State Shri Tokhan Sahu at Bastar District Headquarters, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw in Bilaspur and Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma in Durg will hoist the flag at the main function.

According to the information received from the General Administration Department, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh in Rajnandgaon, Tribal Development Minister Ramvichar Netam in Surguja, Food Minister Dayaldas Baghel in Gariaband, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap in Balod, Industry Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan in Korba, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal in Jashpur, Finance Minister OP Choudhary in Raigarh will hoist the flag at the main function , Women and Child Development Minister Laxmi Rajwade in Surajpur, Revenue Minister Tankaram Verma in Janjgir-Champa, MP Mr. Brijmohan Agrawal in Balodabazar, MP Mr. Vijay Baghel in Bemetara, MP Mr. Santosh Pandey in Kawardha, MP Chintamani Maharaj in Balrampur, MP Roopkumari Chaudhary in Mahasamund, MP Radheshyam Rathia in Sarangarh, MP. Kamlesh Jangde in Sakti, MP Mahesh Kashyap in Bijapur, MP Bhojraj Nag in Kanker, and MP Devendra Pratap Singh in Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai will hoist the flag.

MLA Punnulal Mohle at Mungeli district headquarters, MLA Dharamlal Kaushik at Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, MLA Amar Agarwal at Korea, MLA Ajay Chandrakar at Dhamtari, MLA Renuka Singh at Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur, MLA Ms. Lata Usendi at Kondagaon, MLA Mr. Vikram Usendi at Narayanpur, MLA Rajesh Munat at Mohla-Manpur-Ambagadh Chowki, MLA Kiran Singh Deo at Dantewada and MLA Dharamjeet Singh at Sukma district headquarters will hoist the flag during the Independence Day celebrations.
