Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai reviewed the implementation of government schemes by holding a meeting of collectors of all districts through video conferencing from Mahanadi Bhawan Ministry located in Nava Raipur.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Sai conducted an in-depth review of the ground reality of development schemes in all the districts of the state and gave many important guidelines to the officials.

Taking a tough stand on the increasing pending revenue cases in the state, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Tuesday August 19, 2025 gave clear instructions to the collectors of all the districts through video conferencing that now the era of “Appearance after appearance” should end – all revenue cases should be resolved within the stipulated time limit prescribed by the government.

Chief Minister Sai, while reviewing district-wise works, took detailed information about the status of cases related to transfer, undisputed and disputed partition, record correction, error correction, land acquisition, demarcation, and diversion.

Beneficiaries should not face unnecessary trouble

The Chief Minister bluntly said that by repeatedly calling for appearance, the public not only suffers financial loss, but their time and labor is also wasted. This also reduces the trust of the people towards the government system. He told the officials to reduce the number of appearances and ensure timely resolution of the cases.

All cases should be registered in e-court

Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Subodh Kumar Singh directed that all revenue cases should be registered in e-court, so that their monitoring and tracking can be made easy. Along with this, special attention was also asked to be given to the cases of record correction and error correction. Instructions have been given to correct the records by running a special campaign through Patwaris at the tehsil level.

Instructions to speed up the land acquisition process in national highways and infrastructure projects

The Chief Minister laid special emphasis on the projects of national highways and said that the process of land acquisition is necessary for the rapid and uninterrupted pace of the National Highways and Bharatmala Project. He directed the collectors to settle the pending cases of land acquisition and compensation distribution soon.

Instructions to Bastar division to speed up development works with security

Instructions were given to complete the land acquisition and compensation distribution works on priority for projects like road, rail and mobile tower in Narayanpur, Dantewada, Sukma and Bijapur of Bastar division.

Initiative of reform with strictness

Chief Minister Sai said that the state government is now giving top priority to transparency and accountability in revenue administration. Creation of a responsible governance system is possible only when justice is done to the public on time. Therefore, every officer should ensure that the cases are settled in a just manner, without delay.

Special focus on farmer registration and digital crop survey

The Chief Minister also gave instructions to speed up the process of farmer registration and said that the registration of all eligible farmers should be completed soon. He asked the officers to take the digital crop survey seriously and complete it on time.

Strong preparations for Silver Festival, 25 years of development journey will be displayed

To make the 25th anniversary of the formation of Chhattisgarh memorable, Silver Festival has started from 15th August, which will run for 25 weeks. Chief Minister Sai directed the collectors of all the districts to make the Rajat Mahotasav a festival of public participation by organising events in their respective areas. Details of the programs should be uploaded on the portal and publicity should be accelerated.

Rajat Mahotsav will be linked to “Seva Pakhwada”

Chief Minister Sai, while giving instructions to the officials, said that ‘Seva Pakhwada’ will be celebrated in the state from 17 September to 2 October, 2025 , which will be a part of Chhattisgarh Rajat Mahotsav .

During this, public service programs like blood donation camp, health camp, revenue camp will be organised. Chief Minister Sai said that public relations should be strengthened further by connecting this occasion with every citizen of the state.

Vivek Acharya along with Secretaries, Commissioners and Directors of other departments were present in the review meeting.
