Lucknow : Approx. 8 acre land of Nuru, a relative of former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf, which was declared enemy property, has been auctioned. Its total price has been fixed at Rs 1.38 crore. The e-auction process went on from 11 am to 9 pm. This property was sold within 10 hours. With this auction, the name of Musharraf and his relative Nuru has ended in Baghpat.
Information about the e-auction has been given to the Baghpat administration from Lucknow. Out of the auctioned land, about 3 acre of land has been bought by Pankaj Kumar of Baghpat. This land was in Kotana village. This was the maternal home of former President Musharraf. It was also the residence of his grandparents.
According to the district administration, about two hectares of land of Nooru of Kotana, which was registered as enemy property after the family left Indian in the year 1965 and went to Pakistan now has been auctioned. Residents of Kotana remember that Musharraf’s grandfather and grandmother were from this village. His mother Begum Zarin and father Musharrafuddin left Kotana after marriage in 1943.
