Today India is one of the youngest countries in the world: PM Modi

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a three-day visit to America, where he addressed the people of the Indian community at Nassau Coliseum in New York. Addressing the Indian community, he called them the strongest brand ambassadors of India. And said that is why I call all of you Rashtradoot (national ambassadors). Addressing the Indian community in New York, the PM said that even our Namaste has become multinational, from local to global.

All this has been done by you. PM Modi said that among my friends, I have always understood your potential. I understood even when I did not have any government post and I understand even today. You all have always been the strongest brand ambassadors of India for me. That is why I call all of you Rashtradoot (national ambassadors). After this, the entire stadium echoed with slogans of Modi-Modi.

PM said that I remember those days when I was not even PM, not even CM, not even a leader. At that time, I used to come among everyone as a seeker. I used to show and understand this land, used to ask lakhs of questions. When I was not in any position, I had visited about 29 states of America.

After that, when I became CM, I connected with you people through technology. I got a lot of love from you while being CM. PM also said that we can never forget what Maa Bharati has taught us, wherever we go, we mix with everyone considering them as family. Understanding diversity, living it, incorporating it in our life, these are in our sanskars, in our veins. We are the residents of that country. Where there are hundreds of languages, hundreds of dialects, all the religions and sects of the world, yet we are moving forward as one and noble. In this hall, someone speaks Tamil, someone Telugu, someone Malayalam, someone Kannada, someone Punjabi, someone Marathi and someone Gujarati. There are many languages, but the sentiment is one. That sentiment is Bharat Mata ki Jai.
