Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai extends voluntary contribution at PM Awas site in Bhaisamuda

Beneficiary Anusuiya Painkra expresses heartfelt gratitude

Raipur: During his visit to Jashpur district under Sushasan Tihar, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai stopped in Bhaisamuda village in Pathalgaon block to review houses being built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana on Sunday May 3, 2026 .

The visit took an unscheduled turn when he noticed the under-construction house of beneficiary Anusuiya Painkra. He stepped out of his vehicle and went to the site to examine the progress closely.

Chief Minister Sai reviewed the quality of construction and interacted with labourers engaged at the site. He appreciated their effort, stating that such work forms the foundation of the state’s development.

In a notable gesture, Chief Minister picked up a trowel and joined the work, placing a brick with cement mortar. His participation drew an emotional response from those present, turning the moment into a reflection of his engagement with public welfare.

Anusuiya Painkra expressed her gratitude stating that her long-standing dream of owning a permanent house is now being realised under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

She said the house will provide her family with greater security and dignity.

Chief Minister also interacted with local mason Mohan Chakresh of Chandagarh, enquiring about his livelihood, daily wages and family situation. He encouraged him to make use of various government welfare schemes.

The visit went beyond a routine inspection and was seen by villagers as a reflection of the Chief Minister’s engagement with public concerns. The interaction strengthened their confidence in government efforts.

MLA Gomati Sai, Collector Rohit Vyas and other public representatives, along with a large number of villagers, were present on the occasion.
