Raipur: Farmers can apply online for subsidised agricultural machinery and irrigation pumps (such as diesel/electric pumps and drip irrigation systems) through the ‘CHAMPS Portal.’ To apply, an Aadhaar card, bank passbook, caste certificate, and land documents (Khasra/B-1) are mandatory.
The Chhattisgarh State Seed and Agriculture Development Corporation Limited is initiating the process of providing subsidies on agricultural machinery and irrigation equipment under the CHAMPS system for the financial year 2026-27.
Under this initiative, farmers will be provided with drip and sprinkler systems, power-operated agricultural machinery, and irrigation pumps at subsidized rates.
The application dates for various schemes have been scheduled as follows:
Applications for drip and sprinkler systems under the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana (‘Per Drop, More Crop’) will be accepted starting May 7, 2026. Similarly, applications for irrigation pumps under the Shakambhari Yojana will be accepted starting May 11, 2026; and applications for tractors, harvesters, rotavators, and other power-operated agricultural machinery under the Sub-Mission on Agricultural Mechanization will be accepted starting May 15, 2026.
Interested farmers may submit their applications online between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM on the designated dates. To apply, farmers must visit the official CHAMPS website: http://champs.cgstate.gov.in.
