As part of its annual religious service campaign, the committee will establish a dedicated service stall for devotees participating in the Bhoramdeo Padayatra on August 3, the first Monday of Shravan. The initiative is intended to provide relief and support to Shiva devotees and Kanwar pilgrims undertaking the journey on foot.

According to the organisers, pilgrims visiting the service camp will receive free drinking water, fruits, prasad and other essential assistance throughout the day, ensuring that devotees can complete their spiritual journey with greater comfort and convenience.

Continuing its service activities, the committee will organise a three-day Maha Prasadi Bhandara from August 10 to 12 at Amaleshwar Maa Annapurna Temple, opposite the temple premises in Amarkantak. Thousands of devotees visiting the sacred origin of the Narmada River and nearby Shiva temples are expected to receive free meals during the event.

The organising committee has begun preparations for the large-scale programme, including arrangements for food distribution, safe drinking water, seating facilities and volunteer management to accommodate the anticipated influx of pilgrims.

Members of the committee said that the month of Shravan symbolises devotion, service and selfless dedication, adding that serving pilgrims has become an annual tradition for the organisation. This year’s arrangements have been expanded in view of the expected increase in the number of visitors.

The Devrishi Shri Narad Seva Samiti includes journalists and social workers Suraj Manikpuri, senior journalist Rishikant Kumbhkar, Neeraj Sharma, Roshan Baghel, Vikash Soni and Mukesh Awasthi, who are actively involved in coordinating the service activities.

The committee has appealed to devotees, social organisations and local residents to participate in the initiative, receive the community meal and contribute to the spirit of voluntary service.

Organisers said that serving devotees during the sacred month of Shravan is regarded as one of the highest forms of religious service and expressed hope that the initiative would strengthen the values of compassion, community participation and spiritual harmony.
