Raipur: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Thursday , September 24, 2026 expressed deep grief over the loss of lives after a sleeper bus caught fire on the Yamuna Expressway in Greater Noida.
Reacting to the tragedy in a message shared on X, Sai described the news of the accident as extremely distressing and painful.
“The news of this heartbreaking accident is extremely sad and painful,” the Chief Minister said.
Sai prayed for the departed souls and expressed his sympathies with the families who lost their loved ones in the accident.
“I pray to God to grant a place at His feet to the departed souls and give strength to the bereaved families to bear this immense grief,” he said.
The Chief Minister also wished for the speedy recovery of all those injured in the bus fire.
His message came following reports of casualties and injuries after the sleeper bus caught fire on the Yamuna Expressway.
