Ratan Tata Love Story: Padma Vibhushan Ratan Tata is no more among us. The most unique ‘Ratan’ of the country’s industry, i.e. Ratan Tata, breathed his last in Mumbai at the age of 86 after age-related illness. On Monday, he was admitted to the hospital for health checkup. Later he himself denied the claims of being admitted to the ICU. However, on Wednesday, he was once again admitted to the hospital, where he breathed his last late at night. Ratan Tata was known for his simplicity and simple nature. First love fell prey to Indo-China war

Ratan Tata himself had mentioned that he came close to marriage many times, but perhaps time and circumstances did not permit it. He fell in love in Los Angeles, but his love fell prey to the Indo-China war of 1962. He was about to marry his girlfriend when his grandmother fell ill and he had to return to India. During this time, the Indo-China war started and the girl’s parents refused to send his girlfriend to India and finally his girlfriend married someone else in America. In this way, Tata’s first love remained incomplete. After this, Ratan Tata got engrossed in the business world and then did not get a chance to think about his personal life.

Revealed about love life
Ratan Tata remained unmarried throughout his life. However, he fell in love four times in his life. During an interview, Ratan Tata himself revealed about his love life. He said that love knocked on his door not once but four times, but due to difficult times, his relationship could not reach the stage of marriage. After this, he never thought about marriage again. His entire focus was on taking the Tata Group forward in India.

Industrialist Ratan Tata had told in his interview that he had fallen in love, but his love story could not reach the stage of marriage. He also said that the decision of not getting married proved right for him, because if he had got married, the situation would have been very complicated. He had said, ‘If you ask if I had ever fallen in love, then let me tell you that I was serious about getting married four times and every time I backed out due to some fear. About his love days, Tata said, when I was working in America, perhaps I had become most serious about love and we could not get married only because I came back to India’.

Romantic relationship with actress Simi Grewal
One chapter of his life included a romantic relationship with Bollywood’s beautiful actress Simi Grewal. Simi and Ratan had a deep connection. The actress herself revealed this during an interview. Both of them spent a long time with each other. Both also wanted to get married, but luck did not favor them here too. Due to time, circumstances and personal reasons, their love did not reach its destination

Ratan Tata was troubled by this pain
Ratan Tata had everything, but he had one pain, which he mentioned during the opening of his manager Shantanu’s startup Goodfellows. He had said, ‘You don’t know what it’s like to be alone? You won’t realise it until you are forced to spend time alone. 85-year-old bachelor Ratan Tata had said that until you become really old, no one feels like getting old at all.
