Five Naxalites with bounty of Rs. 40 lakhs , killed in the encounter in Kanker got identified

Kanker: Information has come to light that five Naxalites those were killed in an encounter between security forces and Naxalites in Kanker district of Chhattisgarh on Saturday November 16 , 2024 have been identified . The police have identified all the Naxalites killed in the encounter, sources say that bounty of Rs. 8 lakh each was announced on the killed Naxalites.

According to sources, a joint team of security forces had launched an operation against Naxalites in the dense forests of Kanker district, during which this encounter took place. The Naxalites killed include DVCM (Divisional Commander) Commander Vanocha Karam and Naxalite members of Company No. 10.

According to police officials, this encounter took place under the operation being conducted against Naxalites, in which the security forces achieved success. All the killed Naxalites had been a challenge for the security forces for a long time and a campaign was being run for their arrest for a long .

Police officials said that a large quantity of weapons and explosives have been recovered from the killed Naxalites.

This victory of the security forces against Naxalism is being considered an important achievement, which is an important step towards restoring peace and security in the region.
