Actor Sharad Kapoor in big trouble, 32-year-old woman accuses him of molestation, FIR registered

Actor Sharad Kapoor, who played Prakash Sharma in the film Josh, has landed in big trouble.

Mumbai : Sharad has been accused of molestation by a 32-year-old woman, who has claimed that he called her to his house on the pretext of discussing a project. The complainant has also alleged that Sharad made unwanted advances and sent obscene messages. Police have registered a case against him under sections 74, 75 and 79 of the  Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita,  (BNS) and he has been summoned for questioning in connection with the allegations. According to police officials, the incident allegedly took place on November Tuesday 26, 2024, when the victim was called to Kapoor’s office on the pretext of discussing work on a video reel.

According to officials, “On reaching, she claimed that Kapoor was dressed inappropriately and attempted to assault her. After the incident, she received obscene messages from Kapoor, including a voice note, which further upset her. The victim has sought legal action against him, highlighting the need for accountability in the entertainment industry.” However, there has been no comment from the actor yet on the allegations. Meanwhile on the work front, Sharad Kapoor has not been very active in films. However, he has worked on a few projects recently.
