Raipur: On the initiative of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, “Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan” will be run in Chhattisgarh from 17 September to 2 October 2025. The objective of this campaign being run in many states across the country including Chhattisgarh is to ensure effective implementation of government schemes in tribal areas with the spirit of service, dedication and good governance.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has said here on Monday August 18, 2025 that under the Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan, tribal families are to be benefited with basic facilities, hence this work should be given top priority. Under this campaign, 28 districts, 128 development blocks and 6,650 tribal dominated villages of the state have been included, Sai added .

More than 1,33,000 cadres (NGOs, volunteers, Panchayat representatives, youth and philanthropic organizations) will be prepared at the village level to conduct the campaign. These cadres will play an important role in the implementation of schemes related to basic amenities like housing, roads, health, education, employment and in planning for village development.

Under the campaign, training programs will be organised in a phased manner at the state, district, block and village level. “Aadi Seva Kendra” will be established in each selected village, which will become a center for the delivery of government services and to encourage public participation. During the entire campaign, ‘Seva Parv’ and ‘Aadi Karmayogi Seva Abhiyan’ will be conducted through ‘Aadi Seva Kendra’. Local public representatives will also play an important role in this work.

As per the detailed guidelines laid down by the Tribal Development and Scheduled Caste Development Department, Backward Classes and Minority Development Department, NGOs, CSOs and local volunteers will be selected and trained in the districts.

Along with this, “Tribal Village Vision 2030” of the villages will also be created. During this, complaint redressal camps, public awareness campaigns and “Tribal Service Day” will be organised.
