Administrative Reshuffle in Chhattisgarh: Pushpa Sahu Appointed Secretary of Board of Secondary Education; Roktima Yadav Takes Charge as Collector of Korea District

Raipur: The State Government has issued new appointments, effecting a reshuffle in the portfolios of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. Under this order, significant changes have been implemented at both the education and district administration levels.

Pushpa Sahu, a 2012-batch IAS officer, has been appointed to the post of Secretary, Board of Secondary Education.

It is worth mentioning that, pursuant to an order issued on May 6, 2026, Pushpa Sahu had initially been posted as the Collector of Korea District; however, through a partial modification to that order, she has now been posted as the Secretary of the Board of Secondary Education.


Roktima Yadav, a 2016-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the new Collector of Korea District. She will hold charge of this post on a temporary basis until further orders are issued. Under the order dated May 6, 2026, Roktima Yadav had previously been posted as the Commissioner of Higher Education; through a partial modification to that order, she has now been posted as the Collector of Korea District.

Rita Yadav, a 2019-batch IAS officer, has been posted as the Commissioner of Higher Education. Additionally, she has been entrusted with the additional charge of Managing Director, Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA). Upon her assumption of charge, this post shall be deemed equivalent to a cadre post in the Senior Time Scale.
