Value and Curriculum Based Personality Development workshop organised at Late Raja Virendra Bahadur Singh College, Saraipali

Guidance were  given to  augment personality typically involves focusing of self-awareness , be emergent towards positive communication skills , building emotional intelligence  , practicing self-discipline , enlightening a positive attitude , actively listening to others , acceptance of continuous learning and taking care of your physical and mental health to project a confident and a well-rounded persona .

Saraipali/ Mahasamund : A value and curriculum based workshop on personality development was organised for the overall development of students at Saraipali Late Raja Virender Bahadur Singh govt. College on Saturday November 23 , 2024 .

The chief speaker, Principal of the College Dr. Usha Kiran Agarwal, gave information about the first subject to all the registered students and discussed its important aspects in detail at the beginning of the first day of the value-based curriculum.

In the program, the chief guest-speaker-principal and famous psychologist Dr. Usha Kiran Agarwal discussed in detail with the students about the importance of personality and ways to improve it.

Dr. Agarwal while interacting with the students, she made them think about the good and bad and told them that the balance of intelligence, character and mental state is the key to success in life, she said .

Dr. Agarwal gave the students an opportunity to introspect through various activities and quiz. She also guided them on ways to understand anxiety and mental barriers and how to overcome them.

In her statement, she especially emphasized that parents play the most important role in personality development of the children . Students participated enthusiastically in the Quiz & Dialogue session.

Assessed own personality

In the workshop, students were given an opportunity to understand how positive thinking and self-evaluation can open the way to success in life.

Students assessed their own personality through a quiz and at the first level, learnt about anxiety and its effects on student life.

The program here was not only inspiring for the personality development of the students but will also prove to be a stepping stone in strengthening their self-confidence and mental balance in life .

On this occasion, the program was presided over by the Head of the English Department, P K Bhoi. Besides the Head of the Hindi Department Dr. Sandhya Bhoi was present as the special guest. The program was conducted by Assistant Professor Shavya Patel.
