Amit Shah’s Chhattisgarh visit creates panic among Naxalites, 5 Maoists carrying bounty of Rs 25 lakh surrender, 9 arrested in Bastar

Raipur : At the Police Parade Ground in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, police organisations were awarded the ‘President’s Colours’ for their distinguished services and exemplary devotion to duty. Amit Shah will visit the Naxal-affected areas in Jagdalpur tomorrow and boost the morale of the soldiers.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is on a tour of Chhattisgarh. Meanwhile, there is big news from Sukma. Just before Amit Shah’s Bastar visit, 9 Naxalites have been arrested. Explosive material has also been recovered.

According to the information, this action was carried out when the soldiers had gone out for searching. SP Kiran Chavan has confirmed this. At the same time, 5 hardcore Naxalites including a Naxal couple have surrendered. Among them, a reward of Rs 8 lakh each has been announced on a female and a male Naxalites. Maoists with a bounty of Rs 25 lakh in total have surrendered.

President’s insignia to Chhattisgarh Police

Meanwhile, on the first day of his visit on Sunday December 15, 2024 Amit Shah presented the ‘President’s Colours’ at the Police Parade Ground in Raipur. The ‘President’s Colours’ is the country’s highest honour given to the armed forces and police organisations for their distinguished services and exemplary devotion to duty.

This honour has been conferred on Chhattisgarh Police recently. This honour recognises the unique efforts and achievements of the state police in dealing with Naxalism and other challenges.
