He emphasized that the state government is fully committed to providing world-class infrastructure and all essential facilities to investors at the park.
Kuddos to the dedicated efforts of Chief Minister Sai, the first unit is being established at the Nava Raipur Textile Park. This unit, involving an investment of ₹235 crore, will provide employment opportunities to more than 4,600 people. On June 25, 2026 , Commerce and Industry Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan and Housing and Environment Minister O.P. Choudhary performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the park’s first garment manufacturing unit. Swift Textiles Private Limited, based in Tamil Nadu, is setting up its manufacturing unit here.
The company will primarily manufacture knit garments and fabrics, focusing on children’s wear and exports to European and American markets.
A modern textile park is being developed across 81 acres in Naya Raipur to realise Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai’s vision of establishing Chhattisgarh’s identity in the textile and garment manufacturing sector—both domestically and internationally—and creating significant local employment opportunities.
All necessary infrastructure for the textile, garment, technical textile, and ancillary industries is being developed here. Land has already been allocated to Swift Textiles Private Limited, Puneet Creations, and Drishti Designs LLP within this textile park. These three units are expected to generate over 11,000 employment opportunities with an investment of approximately ₹445 crore.
The Department of Commerce and Industries is developing comprehensive facilities for the fully equipped textile park in Nava Raipur, including paved roads, drainage and water disposal systems, a power substation, water supply infrastructure, street lighting, an administrative building, a commercial complex, an Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), a solid waste management area, and a Common Facility Center. With excellent connectivity, modern infrastructure, and robust logistics, this textile park in Nava Raipur is attracting textile industries as an ideal investment destination.
The State Government has accorded special priority to the textile and readymade garment sectors as “thrust sectors” under Chhattisgarh’s Industrial Development Policy 2024-30.
To boost employment generation, provisions have been made to provide employment assistance of ₹6,000 per month for female employees and ₹5,000 per month for male employees for a period of five years. Driven by the new industrial policy, the state has received investment proposals worth over ₹8 lakh crore in the last 18 months, with the potential to create more than 1.6 lakh jobs.
Beyond textiles and garments, the state has also attracted significant investments in data centers, IT, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, and electrical and electronics manufacturing. This reflects the growing confidence of investors in Chhattisgarh’s industrial ecosystem and business-friendly environment.
“The Textile Park in Nava Raipur will serve as a powerful medium for generating large-scale local employment opportunities for the youth of Chhattisgarh, especially women. Our government is working rapidly to provide world-class infrastructure and all necessary facilities to investors here.
The expansion of industries will impart new momentum to employment, economic activities, and the state’s industrial development. We are working with the goal of making Chhattisgarh a leading textile and garment manufacturing hub in the country. – Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai”
