CG Rajyotsav Day 2 : Chief Minister Sai encouraged the musicians by playing Mandar, listened to traditional instruments

In order to preserve and propagate the culture of Chhattisgarh, an exhibition of musical instruments of Chhattisgarh has also been organised during the Rajyotsav. Artist Rikhi Kshatriya presented Mandar to the Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, who encouraged the musicians by playing the Mandar with them.

Rikhi Kshatriya informed the Chief Minister about the musical instruments of Chhattisgarh like Sarangi, Nagada, Mridul, Chikara, Kondodka, Khankhana, Kuturgi, Kheti, Munda Baja, Hulki, Mohri, Turra, Runju, Trumpet, Mandri Mandar, Todi, Charhe, Tambura, Bamboo, Horn, Gatka, Madia Dhol, Damu, Kharra, Charhe, Chatka, Flag Stick, Khallar, Chhadi, Kotela, Khadka, Silfili, Khartal, Algoja, Gudum Baja, Jhunjhuna, Dafra, Timki. He also introduced the use and utility of traditional musical instruments of Chhattisgarh.
