Champai Soren meets Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi, will join BJP on August 30, Assam CM Himanta gave information

Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren will join BJP on August 30. Champai Soren met Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his residence in Delhi on Monday August 26 night.

Assam Chief Minister and Jharkhand BJP election co-in-charge Himanta Biswa Sarma was also present on the occasion. At 11.30 pm, Himanta Biswa Sarma posted on X and shared this information, in which it was told that Champai Soren will join BJP on August 30 in Ranchi. Champai’s son Babulal Soren was also present with him during the meeting with Shah in Delhi. This has also made it clear that Babulal Soren will also join BJP. There are also discussions about him contesting the assembly elections on BJP ticket. Champai Soren will return to Jharkhand from Delhi on Tuesday August 27 . It is being told that he will resign from JMM and Hemant Cabinet on Wednesday, August 28.

Let us inform you that Champai Soren has been in the news for the last 10 days after adopting a rebellious tone against JMM while being a minister in the Hemant government. Last week, after camping in Delhi for three days, he returned to Jharkhand, even then there was a lot of discussion about his joining BJP.

Meanwhile, Champai had announced his separation from his old party Jharkhand Mukti Morcha by posting on the internet media due to feeling insulted.
