CM Vishnu Deo Sai to Lead Strategic Retreat Focused on Viksit Chhattisgarh, Good Governance, Innovation and Future-Ready Leadership

Raipur :In a major initiative aimed at strengthening governance and accelerating the vision of a Developed Chhattisgarh (Viksit Chhattisgarh), the Chhattisgarh Cabinet, led by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, is to participate in the two-day ‘Chintan Shivir 3.0’ on July 4 and 5 at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Raipur.

Organised jointly by the Department of Good Governance and Convergence, Government of Chhattisgarh, and IIM Raipur, the retreat is designed to make governance more innovative, effective, citizen-centric and result-oriented through dialogue with nationally renowned experts.

The Chief Minister said governments must continuously learn, evaluate their performance and prepare themselves for emerging opportunities and challenges. He described the “Chintan Shivir” as an important platform where ministers and leading experts will exchange ideas and shape policies for the state’s future.

The retreat will deliberate on strategies for balanced and inclusive development across sectors including agriculture, rural development, industry, investment, tourism, sports, innovation, emerging technologies, institutional reforms, leadership development and public service delivery.

The discussions are expected to help strengthen inter-departmental coordination and improve the implementation of public welfare programmes.

CM Sai emphasised that good governance goes beyond launching schemes—it requires continuous improvement, transparency, accountability and responsiveness to people’s expectations. He said the government aims to build a work culture that is transparent, responsible, sensitive and outcome-driven so that every citizen benefits directly from government initiatives.

He further noted that the vision of Viksit Chhattisgarh can be achieved not merely through better utilisation of resources but through visionary policymaking, innovation, effective leadership and stronger convergence among departments, Sai added. .
