Raipur: The Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has expressed serious concern over the incident related to three girls of Narayanpur. This matter came to light when these girls were being taken to Agra through two nuns at Durg railway station by luring them with nursing training and jobs.

Chief Minister Sai said that according to preliminary information, there is a possibility of human trafficking and conversion in this case, which is a serious issue affecting the safety of women and social fabric. He informed that the investigation of the case is going on and it is in the judicial process. The government is working with complete transparency and sensitivity, and the law will take a decision as per its process.

The Chief Minister clarified that Chhattisgarh is a peace-loving and inclusive state where people of all religions and communities live in mutual harmony.

Chief Minister Sai said that our government gives top priority to the safety and respect of women. It is unfortunate to politicise the issue related to our daughters of Bastar.
