Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Friday August 15, 2025 flagged off the SBI Cyber ​​Suraksha Rath (Audio-Video Van) from the Chief Minister’s residence complex in the capital Raipur and started the state level cyber awareness campaign.

Chief Minister said on the occasion that technology has made human life easy and comfortable. Digital transactions have become fast and convenient, but with this challenges like cyber frauds have also increased. He said that with a little vigilance and being cautious can avoid cyber frauds.

The Chief Minister said that this awareness campaign is an effective effort to increase the understanding of cyber security among the people. Under the campaign people will be informed about cyber fraud through audio-video messages, street plays and puppet plays.

CM Sai said that 29 such hotspots have been identified in the state, where cases of cyber fraud are more and the special focus of this Van will be on those places.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai appealed to the people not to share their bank account confidential information, password or OTP with anyone and avoid clicking on unknown links. He said that cyber thugs try to cheat people by adopting new methods every day. A little carelessness can cost hard earned money. Our effort is that more and more people should be aware and keep themselves safe from cyber crime.

It is worth mentioning that in view of the increasing incidents of fraud and unauthorised transactions through digital medium, State Bank of India (SBI), being the “Banker of Every Indian”, has started a statewide cyber security awareness campaign.

This campaign will run from 15 August to 30 November 2025. This Van will go to all 33 districts of the state and will give information to the people about the methods of cyber fraud and ways to avoid it through Nacha Dal and street plays.

State Bank of India officials said that complaints of online financial fraud can be lodged on helpline number 1930. On this occasion, senior officials including DGM Rakesh Sinha, AGM Deepak Kumar Sinha of State Bank of India were present.
