Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai celebrated Raksha Bandhan with beneficiary sisters from various government schemes tied Rakhis on his wrist to express their gratitude. Raksha Bandhan Symbolises the Bond of Love and Trust Between Siblings – CM Sai

Raipur: At his native village Bagiya’s camp office, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai celebrated Raksha Bandhan with beneficiary sisters from various government schemes tied Rakhis on his wrist to express their gratitude. Beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Mahtari Vandan Yojana, along with Anganwadi workers and helpers, Mitanins and members of self-help groups, tied Rakhis to CM Sai and wished him a long life.

Extending heartfelt greetings on the occasion, CM Sai said that Raksha Bandhan is a festival that symbolises the unbreakable bond, affection and respect between brothers and sisters. He added that the state government is continuously working for the development of Chhattisgarh’s three crore citizens and that “Modi ji’s Guarantee” means a guarantee of fulfilling every promise made.

Highlighting ongoing development works in Jashpur, CM Sai said the district will soon have a medical college, nursing college, physiotherapy and horticulture colleges, a 200-bed hospital, and improved electricity supply with the establishment of the state’s fifth power plant at Harradand (Kunkuri). He assured that no obstacle will be allowed to hinder Jashpur’s development.

The event was attended by Upendra Yadav, Sunil Gupta, Sarguja Commissioner Narendra Dugga, IG Deepak Kumar Jha, District Panchayat CEO Abhishek Kumar, public representatives, members of self-help groups, and a large number of beneficiary women.
