Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai extends greetings to people of the state on the eve of Lord Mahavir Jayanti

Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai extended heartfelt greetings to the people of the state on the eve of birth anniversary of the 24th Tirthankar of Jainism, Lord Mahavir Swami.

Chief Minister Sai said the principles of truth, non-violence, compassion and non-possession preached by Lord Mahavir Swami continue to guide human life even today. He said adopting these values can help establish peace, harmony and balance in society.

Chief Minister Sai said the life of Lord Mahavir inspires people to live with self-discipline, sacrifice and the spirit of coexistence. His message is relevant not just for one section but for the entire humanity. He appealed to the people of the state to imbibe Lord Mahavir’s teachings in their daily lives and always come forward to help the weaker and needy sections of society.
