Under the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ‘One tree in the name of mother’, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai planted Flamboyant tree in the new Assembly premises on Monday July 14, 2025 .

Raipur: The State Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Monday July 14, 2025 planted a Flamboyant Tree in the new assembly premises located in Nava Raipur after performing ritualistic worship. Chief Minister Sai participated in the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 2.0’ tree plantation program.

On the occasion, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Leader of Opposition Dr. Charan Das Mahant, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Saw, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap along with other members of the Council of Ministers and all the members of the Legislative Assembly also planted Flamboyant trees.

Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Assembly Secretary Dinesh Sharma, Additional Chief Secretary (Forest) Richa Sharma, Chhattisgarh Forest Force Chief V. Srinivas Rao, Managing Director Chhattisgarh State Minor Forest Produce Federation Anil Sahu, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Arun Kumar Pandey, Chief Conservator of Forests Raju Agasmani were also present in the program.
