CM Vishnu Deo Sai extends heartfelt greetings to citizens on the eve of Raksha Bandhan

Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai extended warm wishes to the people of Chhattisgarh on the eve of auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan. In his message, the Chief Minister wished happiness, prosperity, and mutual harmony for all citizens, stating that the festival represents the deep affection, dedication, and commitment to protection that defines the relationship between brothers and sisters.

CM Sai said that Raksha Bandhan is a reflection of the rich traditions of Indian culture, wherein sisters tie a rakhi to pray for the long life, happiness, and well-being of their brothers, and brothers, in turn, pledge to protect and honour their sisters.

He emphasised that the festival strengthens both familial and social bonds.

Describing Raksha Bandhan as more than just a traditional celebration, the Chief Minister remarked that it embodies values of mutual trust, love, compassion, and a strong sense of duty. He urged citizens to take this occasion as an opportunity to further strengthen social harmony, brotherhood, and the respect for women in society.

CM Sai also extended special greetings to the daughters, sisters, and mothers of the state, reiterating the government’s continued commitment to women’s empowerment, safety, and dignity.

He expressed hope that the sacred festival would infuse every citizen’s life with love, enthusiasm, and a renewed spirit of togetherness.
