Coldplay Concert: Who is Coldplay? Tickets sold out in a blink of an eye, even Karan Johar was left staring

The whole country is excited about the Coldplay concert in India. For those unaware, it is a British rock band formed in 1996 at University College London by vocalist Chris Martin and guitarist Jonny Buckland. The band is currently making headlines as their tickets for the 2025 tour went on sale and were sold out in a jiffy. Social media is flooded with reactions from those who got tickets and those who didn’t. Now, famous Hindi film producer and director Karan Johar has also joined the list.

On Monday September 23 , Karan shared a story on his Instagram, in which he mentioned the craze of Coldplay tickets. Through his post, he tried to express that despite all the facilities and special privileges, there are some things that are out of his reach.

He wrote- ‘Dear Privilege, I like that Coldplay and Mini Kelly always keep you grounded. You can’t always get everything you want.’ In fact, when the ticket booking for Coldplay’s India concert was opened on Sunday September 22 , the public went crazy over it to such an extent that the online booking app crashed. Its tickets are available in black for 1 to 3 lakhs. Coldplay is counted among the most famous bands of this era. Rock music icon Chris Martin is a part of this band. But, do you know that the rock band whose tickets even Karan Johar could not get, has performed at the Ambani family’s event.

Yes, in March 2019, the wedding of India’s top industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s son Akash and Shloka was much talked about. A lot of stars were present at the wedding of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta.
