Congress team reached Raigarh to investigate the gangrape case, while police stopped MLAs from meeting the victim

Politics has started in Raigarh over the incident of gang rape of a woman. The investigation committee formed by the Congress party reached Raigarh today where the team members were not allowed to meet the victim. The women MLAs who were members of the team were asked to show the order of permission to meet the victim, after which the investigation team of Congress reached to meet the SP.

However the police has kept the victim of gang rape at a safe place away from her house.

Today when the four women MLAs included in the investigation team reached to meet the victim, they were made to wait for hours and then were asked to show the permission order for meeting the victim . The instructions of higher officials were cited to the investigation committee saying that they will not be allowed to meet the victim in the absence of a written order. After an hour of argument , the investigation team reached to meet the Superintendent of Police. Raigarh SP shared all the necessary information related to the case with the Congress investigation committee.
