Raipur: On the instructions of Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Director Health Services Rituraj Raghuvanshi has instructed all the districts of the state to take precautions in view of diseases through video conferencing today. All the Chief Medical and Health Officers of the state and all the Civil Surgeons cum Chief Hospital Superintendents were present in the video conference. In the meeting, mainly the current status of diarrhea and H1N1 cases, the status of preparations being made for their prevention and treatment were discussed and reviewed. In the review meeting, Raghuvanshi also reviewed the current status of malaria, dengue, Japanese encephalitis, snakebite cases and preparations for their prevention and treatment.
Along with this, district-wise information was taken about the current status of availability of medicines and consumables in the state. Along with this, the status of high risk pregnancy cases under maternal health was also reviewed. In the meeting, the status of maternal mortality audit, TB. The current status of the disease and availability of medicines, current status of vaccination and current status of screening under Sickle Cell Eradication Mission were reviewed. Along with this, the status of joining of bonded doctors, status of relieving of transferred doctors and status of OST centers operated under NACO were also reviewed in the meeting.
