Decisive Meeting in Delhi on the Future of Bastar; A Major Blueprint for the Region—CM Sai to Give Presentation to PM and Home Minister

New Delhi/ Chhattisgarh : Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai is arriving in New Delhi late tonight, at approximately 11:30 PM today on Monday April 6, 2026 . During this significant visit, the Chief Minister is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 11:00 AM on Tuesday April 7. On the same day, he will also hold a meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

This visit by the Chief Minister is considered particularly crucial regarding the future of Bastar. The primary focus of this meeting will be on the “post-Maoist scenario”—specifically, the holistic development of Bastar following the decline in Maoist influence.

Chief Minister Sai will present a detailed roadmap for Bastar’s development before the Prime Minister and the Home Minister.

According to sources, the nation’s attention is now shifting toward the development of Bastar. Following the positive outcomes achieved in the security sector, the government’s priority is to rapidly integrate this region into the mainstream of development.

In his presentation, the Chief Minister will outline plans for expanding infrastructure facilities in Bastar, promoting industries, attracting investment, enhancing employment opportunities for local youth, and ensuring the inclusive development of tribal regions.
