Effect of Sai government’s strategy, two hardcore Naxalites with 16 lakh bounty on their head surrendered

Influenced by the Chhattisgarh Government’s “Chhattisgarh Naxalism Eradication and Rehabilitation Policy” being run under the guidance of SP Kiran Chavan and senior officers and the “Niyad Nella Nar” scheme being run by Sukma Police, and the increasing influence of police on continuous establishment of camps in highly sensitive interior areas, and fed up with the inhuman, baseless ideology of Naxalites and their exploitation, atrocities and discrimination by outside Naxalites and violence on local tribals, with the aim of joining the mainstream of society, 2 hardcore Naxalites namely

  1. Madkam Muya PLGA Battalion No. 1. Party member of Company Number 2 Platoon Number 2 Section “B”, with a reward of Rs. 8 lakhs and
  2. Madkam Sanna Party member/PPCM of PLGA Battalion Number 1, Company Number 1, Platoon Number 3 Section “B”, with a reward of Rs. 8 lakhs surrendered without arms in front of Neeraj Kumar Singh, Second Command Officer 219 Battalion CRPF, Parmeshwar Tilakwar, Police Sub-Divisional Officer Sukma and Inspector Shivanand Tiwari, Police Station In-charge Sukma, in the office of Superintendent of Police, Sukma. Both the surrendered Naxalites were involved in many major incidents.

The above surrendered Naxalites were given clothes and incentive amount of Rs. 25,000 each in cash. Both the surrendered Naxalites will be provided financial assistance and other facilities under the “Chhattisgarh Naxalism Eradication and Rehabilitation Policy”.
