Girl’s throat slit in Telibandha, dies during treatment

Raipur: The incidents of stabbing are not stopping in the capital Raipur. The latest incident is from Telibandha police station area, where a young man attacked a girl with a knife in broad daylight at Telibandha pond. After attacking the girl, the accused youth jumped into the Telibandha pond. After this incident, there was a stir in the entire area. On receiving information about the incident, the police and SDRF team reached the spot. The SDRF team rescued the accused. The police have arrested the him and started interrogation. Let us inform you that the girl dies during treatment.

Additional Superintendent of Police Lakhan Patle said that a youth named Lokesh attacked the girl fatally. After the attack, Lokesh jumped into the Telibandha pond. He was trying to escape by jumping into the pond. The police and SDRF team rescued and arrested him. The seriously injured girl has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Patle said that prima facie this case seems to be a love affair. At present, investigation is being conducted .
