Raipur: Under the aegis of the ‘Good Governance Festival 2026’ (Sushasan Tihar), public grievance redressal camps organised across the state are emerging as a vital source of relief and reassurance for the common people.

By swiftly resolving applications received at these camps, eligible beneficiaries are being provided with the benefits of various public welfare schemes right on the spot.

At a Good Governance Camp held in Ghurjiabathan Gram Panchayat—located within the Pathalgaon Janpad Panchayat in Jashpur district—the Social Welfare Department successfully resolved 80 pension applications directly at the camp venue.

Following verification, all applicants were found to be eligible, creating an atmosphere of joy and celebration among the beneficiaries.

During the camp, a specially-abled beneficiary, Mohit Ram Korwa, was provided with a battery-operated tricycle as an assistive aid. The event was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, the local MLA, Gomati Sai.

Similarly, in the Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki district, public grievance redressal camps organised as part of the Good Governance

Festival 2026 are facilitating the distribution of pension sanction orders to eligible beneficiaries identified through the NCAER survey, with the active support of the respective Janpad Panchayats. Through this administrative initiative, eligible beneficiaries are receiving scheme benefits expeditiously, and public trust in the government has been significantly strengthened across rural areas.

Through the Good Governance Festival, the State Government continues to work relentlessly towards resolving the issues faced by the common people, expanding social security schemes, and ensuring that the benefits of governance reach the very last person in society.
