High alert issued on India-Bangladesh border, ADG, BSF, Eastern Command will keep an eye, Central Government forms a committee

The Central Government has constituted a committee to monitor the current situation of the India-Bangladesh border (IBB), which will be headed by ADG, Border Security Force, Eastern Command. The committee will maintain communication channels with its counterparts in Bangladesh to ensure the safety of Indian citizens, Hindus and other minority communities living there.
