High-level meeting held to review preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Chhattisgarh

Raipur: A high-level meeting was convened on Tuesday September 16 , 2025 in the Main Committee Hall of the Assembly premises under the chairmanship of Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh and Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai to review preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to Chhattisgarh.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, Forest and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kedar Kashyap, Finance Minister O.P. Choudhary, MLA Ajay Chandrakar, MLA Prabodh Minj, MLA Bhavana Bohra, MLA Anuj Sharma, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, VidhanSabha Sachiv Dinesh Sharma, Director General of Police Arun Dev Gautam, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Subodh Kumar Singh, along with other senior officials.

Chief Minister Sai reviewed in detail the arrangements for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s proposed visit to Chhattisgarh. He instructed officials to ensure that all preparations are completed in a timely and well-coordinated manner.

It is worth mentioning that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the Rajyotsav celebrations being held as part of Chhattisgarh’s Silver Jubilee year.

On this occasion, he will inaugurate the new building of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly, dedicate the Chhattisgarh Tribal Museum, and formally inaugurate the Rajyotsav.
