Former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel asked what action was taken against the person making illicit alcohol. Replying to this, Home Minister Vijay Sharma said that the matter is being investigated. The upcoming report of FSL will be accepted. Unsatisfied with the answer of the Home Minister, the opposition walked out of the House.

Earlier, Leader of Opposition Dr. Charan Das Mahant raised the same issue of death in village Lofandi through attention motion and said that there is a flood of alcohol in the state, it has to be stopped. People are selling alcohol in every street. Action should be taken against those selling illicit alcohol.

Home Minister Vijay Sharma said on this that there is nothing to hide. Work is under the process on zero tolerance. The property of people doing illicit drug business has been attached. A six-member team has been formed to investigate this matter, action will be taken after the report tabled . Some people are habitually engaged in this work, they have been warned of stern measures . Action has also been taken against many people, Home Minister Vijay Sharma Said .

Dr. Mahant said that to shape the future of children, liquor sale needs have to be stopped with immediate effects . Teachers are coming to schools after consuming alcohol. On this, Vijay Sharma said that the practice of liquor scam was created in Chhattisgarh, its effect is being seen.

The Sai government did not touch this practice, it has picked it up with a pair of tongs and thrown it away- Bhupesh Baghel

On the question of action against tainted State Administrative Service officers, CM Sai assured saying that no duplicity will be accepted in any manner .

Let us tell you that the matter of investigation and action against tainted State Administrative Service officers was raised in the Assembly by former Minister and BJP MLA Rajesh Munat . Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that I assure that no swindling practice will be undertaken and responsible officers will be spared. The government is working on the policy of zero tolerance.

Continuing on questions , BJP MLA Dharamlal Kaushik asked that against how many officers of the State Administrative Service, in which cases and when, crimes have been registered in Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) and Economic Offences Wing (EOW) ? Against whom is departmental investigation being conducted?

Kaushik named few officers and said that action against them has been taken after raising questions, from this the seriousness can be understood. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, while answering, said that we have formed the Department of Good Governance and Abhiyan. I assure that no offender will be spared. The government is working on the policy of zero tolerance.

The matter of amendment in the bylaws of housing cooperative societies was raised.

BJP MLA Rajesh Munat raised an issue of cooperative societies asking that Cooperative societies are still wandering for No Objection Certificate (NOC) . NOC is not given without taking money. Minister Kedar Kashyap assured that no complaint will be received regarding NOC henceforth .

On the question of BJP MLA Rajesh Munat, Minister Kedar Kashyap said that in the last session we had talked about forming a committee. The government has formed the committee. Two meetings of the committee have been held so far . The work will be done under the ideal format that will come out of the committee. We are going to make the process online as soon as possible. No complaint will come from anywhere. Rajesh Munat said that I can name more than forty societies in the capital city itself , where if a common man has to go, then NOC is not given without taking money. When there is a corrupt government in the state, and every work is going on sham, then will this also be done spuriously , MLA Rajesh Munat asked !
