On Sunday August 11 the administration took major action against an illegal church located in Khumiya village of Ahraura police station in Mirzapur Uttar Pradesh . The administration demolished the church using a bulldozer. The game of conversion was going on here for many years.
This church was built illegally on the land of the forest department. The game of conversion was going on in the church. People living around the church were being lured and converted in a planned manner. After the complaint of the local people, the police took cognizance and during the investigation it was found that the church was built on the land of the forest department.
The district administration had issued a notice to the church operators and sought a response. But, they did not respond. Superintendent of Police Abhinandan said that we had received information that conversions were going on in some churches. After this, we got information that a church located in Khumiya village of Ahraura police station is built on the land of the forest department. People living nearby are being converted in this church.
